Palisades State Park, Sioux Quartzite, SD
We took a trip to South Dakota and after I'd hiked a while, I drew while Tim and the kids rock climbed. I was intrigued by the many shades of pink in the quartzite, the many layers, and the plants growing along the river's edge. Very dramatic.
I enjoy taking time to slow down and really look at nature through the process of drawing.
