For my birthday, I invited several friends- Ginger, Marty my mom, Sara, and Sheila to join me for a pottery party. We went to the potter's home and each of us created a useable piece. It is a delight to create together.
Looking back I see how many times I've come back to containers- boxes, cups, bowls- as if I was trying to find a way to get my arms around my own life.
