Charcoal, tracing of a cut out from a piece of sculpture
Two Harbors lighthouse and breakwater

I went to Two Harbors to draw my flag and as I was walking around, I found a sculpture- a metal archway of two woman holding hands over the walking path. Cut out of the metal of their bodies are dozens of silhouettes of women in various joyful, strong poses including this woman. She caught my eye given my intention to do yoga on the breakwater that day in celebration of myself.
I traced her outline into my art journal and then went and did this very pose myself.
